If you are a Harley Davidson enthusiast, you appreciate timeless quality and innovation. When the first Harley Davidson motorcycle rolled into the light from a tiny shed in 1903, the image of an American icon was realized. Quality breeds longevity.  If you own a Harley Davidson, you understand that better quality equates to better success. Illuminating LED headlights can bring you that same level of high-quality and long lasting appeal, along with numerous other perks.

LED Headlights

Speed and grit are synonymous with the characteristics that the Harley Davidson brand is known for. LED headlights illuminate up to 50,60,70  percent farther than the average headlight bulb. Not only does this help other drivers or riders on the road react more quickly to your presence, it provides you with better reaction time if or when road hazards are present. LED lights have an average life of 100,000 hours or 10 years, (when compared to typical headlight bulbs,) there's no denying their grit! Even die-hard Harley Davidson fan and famed back-to-back Daytona 200 winner, Cal Rayborn, could see the benefits utilizing LED lighting provides.

Outlining LED Benefits

Why should you incorporate LED headlights on your motorcycle? The answer is simple: they exude innovation, provide numerous customization options and demonstrate time-measured durability. Here are a few more of the gritty details:

  • Brighter is better. Especially for motorcycle visibility.  LED's are brighter and use less power.
  • They shine with intensity but their beams don't diverge. (And the more LED lights you use, the better the results!)
  • Durability. The product is high impact resistant and waterproof. For those rainy rides, you don't have to worry about your light being doused!
  • These specific types of lights are tested for power and cost efficiency. LED lights are valued by what they can do for you even before they are sold!
  • For Harley Davidson owners who enjoy customizing their bike and displaying their individual creativity, LED lights come in a variety of styles and luminescence.

Whether you desire LED headlights that celebrate a classic, timeless look or LED options that create an unforgettable and bold statement, Everything LED Harley Davidson has a wide variety of lighting solutions to choose from. LED tail lights bring your bike to life when the sun goes down. The luminescent glow of LED lighting accents the curves and lines of your bike so that you can see and be seen as you cruise on down the road. Whether beneath clear skies or through the hazy gray of fog and rain, LED lights are a functional, fanciful, and fun addition to any bike.

LED's Outshine Other Options

LED tail lights are 50.60,70 percent brighter than traditional incandescent tail light and also one of the easiest ways to increase the visibility of your bike.

As you're traveling down the road, LED's create more illumination per watt than incandescent bulbs. They don't waste energy which means less strain and a longer usable lifespan for your battery. It also means a longer lifespan for the lights themselves. Some LED bulbs can continue to illuminate the night sky for as long as 60,000 hours. That's up to 2,500 days of continuous riding for you to enjoy.

LED's Lead to a Safer Ride

LED tail lights respond faster than incandescent bulbs which means other motorists will see your intentions to turn and brake two to three milliseconds sooner. Those milliseconds can make the difference between a safe maneuver and a preventable accident.

In addition to speed, the transition is crisp and instantaneous. This grabs people's attention and causes them to take notice. This significantly increases a rider's visibility and enhances the visual awareness of other motorists.  LED tail lights are a safety feature that can protect you and your passengers.

LED's Create a Crisp & Classy Appearance

LED tail lights are a snappy addition to any bike. They create a clean and crisp visual appearance that accentuates the natural lines and curves of any bike. Whether it's a Harley Davidson Street Glide, Trike, Road King, or Sportster, LED lights are just what the mechanic ordered to make your bike stand out from the crowd.

Everything LED HD has a wide selection of LED tail lights for you to choose from. We invite you to contact us at 480-878-8882 for more illumination on the subject and to discover how our products ensure that you can see, and be seen as you travel down the road.

Benefits of LED Turn Signals

7/22/2016 9:14 AM

LED turn signals have come a long way since their debut on the automotive market in 2000. While most cars and motorcycles do not have them as a standard feature, it is relatively simple to switch them out yourself.

Benefits of LED Lights

One of the biggest advantages of using an LED light for your blinker as opposed to a traditional bulb is the length of time the LED lasts compared to a standard 12V incandescent bulb. On average, you can expect the incandescent light to work for about 750-1000 hours (3-4 years of regular riding), while an LED can last anywhere between 20,000-40,000 hours, well past the lifespan of your motorcycle.

Why Aren't LED Lights Used More?

Since they tend to last quite a bit longer than regular bulbs, LED lights typically have an initial higher cost than incandescent lights. Some traditional blinker bulbs can be as cheap as $2, while LED bulbs start at around $15. From a pricing standpoint, you probably will not own your motorcycle long enough to change the bulbs 7-8 times to make up the price difference. What you do save is time, since switching out bulbs can take awhile for those who do not have a good grasp on the lighting system of a Harley.

Where to Find LED Turn Signals

LED turn signals can be found at most major motorcycle dealers and online at Everything LED. Most motorcycle repair professionals will tell you that an LED light is more than worth it compared to standard bulbs. Not having to worry about your turn signal going out, especially in the middle of a ride, gives you one less thing to think about when you are on the road.
